If there's one modern Queen for whom headbands are one of the most important and remarkable accessories. It's the future heir to the throne of Queen of England Kate Middleton, real name Catherine.

Kate was born on January 9, 1982 in Berkshire into a family of commoners, a family with no noble blood (yet). She grew up with an older sister Philippa, known as Pippa, and a younger brother named James.
She met Prince William of Cambridge when she studied at St Andrews University in Scotland in 2001. Since then, events have followed in quick succession, and the media have been quick to take an interest in Kate, who has suddenly become the focus of all attention.
The romance with Prince William continues, and the couple is forming more or less discreetly. With so many paparazzi and journalists spying on her every move, things got complicated. The wedding was expected to be the next logical step, with the whole of England eagerly awaiting events as if watching a TV series.
The engagement finally came through in 2010, and the wedding took place in April 2011, officially making Kate Middleton the new Duchess of Cambridge and wife of the future predestined King of England. At the time of writing, he is the heir to the crown.
One of the Duchess's greatest strengths is undeniably her modern, on-trend royal style. Girls the world over are quick to copy her looks, and fashion brands are quick to reproduce dupes of her outfits.
A mix of colorful English classicism anchored in the 2010-2020 era. A true 2.0 princess, an influencer in spite of herself.
We've observed that there's always a touch of color and a pronounced waistline in most of her wardrobe combinations.
During the day, she likes flowing fabrics with polka-dot or floral motifs and pretty jackets.
Outfits are worn with heels, often black pumps.
The princess chooses flattering cuts for her long, slender legs.
They're close-fitting, regular-fit. Pants are reserved for relaxation and sport.
According to shots of the pretty princess, she has an absolutely stunning dress collection.
Her dresses are always centered at the waist. Kate also seems to appreciate pleated skirts. The length of her “short” skirts is always just perfectly above the knee. To achieve such consistency of style and measurement, you'd expect a personal stylist and couturiers to have created her bespoke clothes. At the same time, for a duchess, this must be a normal way of life.
Even when very colorful, her outfits are dominated by blue, red, white and black.
Her make-up is always quite light. The eyes are much more elaborate than the mouth, with a little blush, eye liner or black pencil and a touch of mascara.
The mouth is natural or with a discreet touch of gloss.
The complexion is very well done, with no discernible imperfections, just a hint of blush at the top of the cheekbones.
A flagrant example on her wedding day in the photo below.
Kate's signature hairstyle is straight hair, but with volume created by blow-drying, and slightly wavy ends. She's rarely seen with her hair tied back in a ponytail or bun.
It's just always perfectly coiffed, with the occasional detail that hasn't gone unnoticed by the lynx-like eyes of Reines d'Aujourd'hui.
So, among all her coquetries, her signature accessory is of course the headband, with velvet padded headbands a firm favorite.
Kate loves large headbands with volume, and that's no understatement. Whether she's wearing padded models or maxi floral headbands, she doesn't shy away from volume or color. In any case, they perfectly enhance her beautiful face.

The headband, as the English call it, is obviously a very popular accessory among the Queens of the British territory, and our Kate isn't the only one to have succumbed to it. In my investigation, I discovered a few other princesses wearing royal headbands in a very classy and regal way. Proof that it really is the modern-day Queen accessory par excellence.
Princess Eugenie Channel, of the House of Windsor, born in London on March 23, 1990.
As far as her inheritance is concerned, she is 10th in the order of succession to the throne, still held by Queen Elizabeth.
Pippa wears headbands less often than her sister, but when she does, it's for special, festive events.
On her wedding day, she wore a magnificent tiara set with white diamonds.
